INTRODUCTION INTO EXTRUSION OF PROFILES FROM ALUMINIUM ALLOYS
The process of hot extrusion of aluminium alloys results in the production of pipes, bars and profiles of various shapes and sizes. The term hot extrusion itself is used to describe a process in which aluminium alloy billet is heated up to a certain temperature and then placed into the recipient. The latter is then closed on one side with a die, mandrel or supporting components defining the product's shape, and on the other with the press head, which is being pressed by the extrusion press ram. During the hot extrusion the aluminium alloy "flows" through the die due to high pressure. As a result of transformation in the hot state the desired profiles with full or hollow crossections are produced.

TOOLS FOR EXTRUSION OF PROFILES FROM ALUMINIUM ALLOYS
Our principal activity is design and production of tools for hot extrusion of profiles, bars and pipes from aluminium alloys. Profiles extruded with our tools meet the high requirements relating to the quality of products in automotive industry, civil engineering as well as other aluminium processing industries.
In order to satisfy our customers' needs we manufacture various types of tool. These are used depending on the desirable shape of extruded aluminium profile:
PARTHOLE DIES (for closed shaped profiles)
STANDARD DIES (for open profiles)
SPIDER DIES (for complex shapes of profiles)
DRAWN DIES (for cold drawing)
The company also manufactures other tool components, which are needed for hot extrusion of aluminium profiles, namely:
beckers,
die holders,
press heads,
etc.
CAD-CAM SERVICES
Apart from theoretical knowledge and experience the company's tool designers and CNC machine programmers also require an appropriate computer equipment and hardware. Therefore, the computer programmes ME-10 and Solid Works for 3D designing are used for designing. For programming CNC machines (milling and wire erosion) the programmes DEPOCAM, SolidCam, BobCad and BobWire are used.
Production planning is therefore able to offer comprehensive technical and technological support of production process in which tools are manufactured.
The company also offeres CAD-CAM services to external customers.
